ABSTRACT
In this appendix we survey, without proofs, some of the basic theorems concerning Fourier series and Fourier transforms. The discussion here is taken largely from [134] and [51]. There are many books, such as [80], that the reader interested in further details may consult. The book [101] is a delightful, if unconventional, journey through the theory and applications of Fourier analysis.
