ABSTRACT
Unitized handling is one of the most significant developments in the history of shipping goods and materials. Stacking a number of objects on a tray for transport from one room to another is a simple form of unitized handling. The larger the tray, the greater the number of objects that can be carried. There are of course limits due to the size and weight of the objects.
