ABSTRACT

Analytical Investigative Methods (AIM) are methods of helping others to “see” complex ideas and information in a more understandable way. They help investigators present information to prosecutors in a more graphic way and help prosecutors simplify cases for juries and judges who will be triers of fact and law. AIM involve basic analysis tools, such as CPM-PERT charts, Gantt charts, flow charts, etc., or may involve presentations of intelligence data and crime analysis charting that are more complex.
