ABSTRACT
This chapter is aimed at providing the echocardiography beginner with theoretical and practical knowledge on focused cardiac ultrasound (FoCUS), and also at describing to clinicians competent in comprehensive echocardiography the specific features of this simplified cardiac ultrasound diagnostic test.
