ABSTRACT
Serial rings and modules were considered in [146, Sections 12, 13]. This chapter is devoted to the further study of serial rings. See Sections 5.3 and 5.4 for initial material. In particular, the structure theorems for various different classes of serial nonsingular rings are presented. As will be illustrated in this section “serial”, as intuitively expected, is a very strong property.
