ABSTRACT
Change is in the air; everybody is talking about it, trying to deal effectively with it, and for good reason. Donald Schon, in his 1979 book Beyond the Stable State, explained that the rate of change in our environment is increasing constantly. Dealing with it is becoming our major challenge. To do so in the realm of business we must develop organizations that are capable of learning continually from their environment and adapting. But how is that possible?
