ABSTRACT
When designing any map, the problem of choosing a map project ion is of great
importance. Analysis of the general problem involves f inding an o p t i m u m solut ion
of various problems relating to the map. The choice of map project ion depends on
many factors, which can be subdivided in to three groups.
