ABSTRACT
The chapter will be presented in three parts: (1) the analysis of categorical data using a multinomial distribution for the various patterns displayed by the repeated variable, (2) a Bayesian analysis for categorical data with covariates using a Bayesian version of the generalized estimating equations (GEE), and (3) the generalized linear model with fixed and random effects.
