ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses a group of studies that have in common the facts that they (1) are intended to predict longer-term effects that occur after continued or repeated exposure to an agent, and (2) have historically only been performed on a small subset of devices and the materials used to make them, but for which the requirements to be met have been expanded.
