ABSTRACT
In Section 6.3.8 of Chapter 6 I mentioned a perfect match between the active object computing model and a super-simple, run-to-completion (RTC) preemptive kernel. In this chapter I describe such a kernel, called QK, which is part of the QP event-driven platform and is tightly integrated with the QF real-time framework.
