ABSTRACT

A: In graduate school, I was fortunate to participate in amaster class taught by DreamWorks artists. It was there that I fell in love with rigging, spending long nights in the computer lab perfecting my character rig for the class. The detail-oriented nature of the work appealed to me, as well as the feeling of building something almost mechanical through a digital medium. After the course, I was interviewed and I secured an internship with DreamWorks, where I spent the summer helping to program components for their new rigging software. After the internship, I was offered a full-time position, and I have been at DreamWorks ever since.
