Change is a constant happening all the time. But what does that mean for portfolio managers? When does a portfolio manager know when a change is occurring and how it will greatly aect the portfolio? To answer these questions, portfolio managers must pay attention to the other forces at work in a portfolio: stakeholders and their goals. In the perfect scenario, stakeholders and goals align with the strategy and support it. But this scenario is static and not capable of change. is chapter looks at scenarios when goals, stakeholders, and strategy conict, which is when portfolio managers should pay attention because change is occurring.
