ABSTRACT

In chapter 3 it was shown that the chain mechanism of nucleation is initiated by the influence of impurities on the nucleation stage, and then capillary condensation of impurities between the crystallites of the metal condensation leads to the formation of columnar structures in the condensate. In fact, the condensate with the columnar structure is a mixture of ultra-small particles of components insoluble in each other. This fact suggests a clear idea of developing a technology of nanosized materials by atom-by-atom folding of components in the condensate, thus obtaining a fundamentally new material which can not be obtained by macroscopic methods. The chemical and structural properties of such materials are determined by the parameters at which the process of joint condensation of the components is performed.
