ABSTRACT
There are two major areas for current development of integrated microuidic chip-capillary electrophoresis (MC-CE) devices for intended applications. The rst area is integrating CE with various on-chip sample and analyte pretreatment procedures, such as on-chip sample cleanup and concentration, manipulation of nanouids at microchannels for analyte isolation and enrichment, and execution of desired procedures on-chip for mixing and other operations.
