ABSTRACT

From Chapter 3, it follows that if China is divided into three parts: the east, center, and west, then Central China represents the general area for investment and employment. Although this area is general in terms of the opportunities for investment and employment, the regions in this part of China can still be ranked from the most optimal to the least optimal based on their respective characteristics. On the basis of the theoretical foundation, models, and methods, provided in Chapter 2, this chapter calculates and analyzes the statistics available for the year 2011, and then provides the consequent guidelines for investment and employment opportunities in this region.
