ABSTRACT
Abstract: In this chapter, the coal combustion profile, the typical coal combustion reactor, and the power generation system using coal combustion are introduced. After that, the advanced combustion technologies for pulverized coal including the low NOx combustion and the stable combustion at low burner load are explained. Finally, the combustion characteristics of many kinds of coal, such as low-rank coal with high moisture content, high ash content coal, and high-fuel-ratio coal, are introduced.
