ABSTRACT

Critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR) is the powerhouse of national security, economy, and well-being. We recognize it as the power and water used for industrial and residential use; the transportation that enables trade, mobility, and prosperity; and the communication networks that ensure our connectivity with the world. Critical infrastructure (CI) comprises tangible and intangible assets, technologies, and networks so vital for the nation that their incapacitation or damage would have a devastating effect on nations, industries, and communities alike (DHS 2013).
