ABSTRACT
The profile techniques simultaneously plot data on several variables. Thus, a profile is best described as histogram on each variable, connecting between variables by identifying cases. The various objectives of profile techniques make it difficult to give complete explicit instructions for constructing profiles. It is especially useful in informally suggesting possible clusters of similar cases and also groups of similar variables.
