ABSTRACT
THE LAST CHAPTER EXPLAINED that the basic approach in P-M analysis is to stratify abnormal phenomena correctly, understand the relevant operating principles and mechanisms, and analyze them from a physical perspective. The next step is to list and investigate all logically plausible factors, regardless of the degree to which they appear to contribute to the problem, and eliminate all abnormalities through effective countermeasures and controls (Figure 4-1).
