ABSTRACT
As you review each Lean Discipline Checklist, you will notice that there is extensive classroom and hands-on training for the candidate on their particular Lean discipline. You will also notice additional training in Lean disciplines that cross over into their particular subject. The presumption I have made is that if you truly have a Lean system in place, it will contain training modules for all of these basic Lean disciplines. If for some reason you find yourself short of a training package or two, you will want to contact your local or state colleges to see what they have to offer to make up for anything lacking. Many colleges today offer a variety of courses geared toward Lean in a work environment.
