ABSTRACT
When considering assisted reproductive technology (ART) centers and the kind of services they provide, the variation is huge. Some procedures that are offered in one country, such as donor insemination and gamete donation, are completely forbidden in another, and the relationship between doctors and patients may simply go from friendly and equalitarian to distant and authoritarian. Consequently, the demands and expectations patients have can be completely different, and the definition of quality impossible to be universal.
