ABSTRACT
The technological progress of medicine, as well as of other scientic elds, brings to light new challenging discoveries, which explains the constant motivation for an objective evaluation of new techniques. In recent years, the main scientic interest has been focused not only on the synthesis of new types of polymeric materials but also on the modication of the existing polymers and their properties, to meet requirements for new applications, especially biomedical ones [1].
