ABSTRACT
Lean Six Sigma road map for SMEs This chapter discusses a general road map for the implementation of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). When any new concept is introduced in an organisation, one needs to verify the readiness of the organisation to accept the implementation and the infrastructure requirements. Hence, this chapter incorporates sections on readiness factors (RFs) and infrastructure requirements along with an LSS road map for SMEs. All these sections of this chapter together act as a systematic approach for LSS implementation in any organisation. Thus, this chapter guides the people in SMEs to understand the general approach and requirements for LSS implementation.
