This chapter provides information for performing femoral artery. It begins with a case scenario of a 58-year-old woman on a ventilator with labile blood pressures. Femoral venous puncture from needle insertion should lead to temporary cessation of the procedure. Withdraw the needle and apply manual pressure for 5 minutes.
