ABSTRACT

Description: Umbrella of this species is about half as high as broad when swimming. It is rigid and thick in the central part while thin in the margin. When attened, it has a maximum diameter of 70  cm. The exumbrella is smooth, and long and short marginal grooves are seen alternately. Eight rhopalia are located in the umbrella margin. A ring canal runs to connect the midpoints

shaped and folded complexly on the lower stomach wall. Mouth-arms are fused with each other for the proximal one-fourth of their length.
