ABSTRACT
Electrochemistry is the science of studying chemical reactions at the interface of an electron conductor called electrode and an ionic conductor called electrolyte. The reactions involve electron transfer between the electrode surface and the electrolyte or a substance in the solution. Charge transfer between species is called oxidationreduction or redox reaction.
