ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Modeling the surface flow-infiltration-subsurface flow system on steep slopes is critical to the slope stability analysis. A coupled surface-subsurface flow model on a steep slope is employed to describe this complex physical process. Uncertainties, however, exist in the modeling exercises due to incomplete information, limited understanding of underlying mechanisms and imperfect model structure. In this study, an uncertainty analysis framework of the coupled surfacesubsurface flow model is presented.
