13.4 DIAMOND AND CUBIC BORON NITRIDE: MATERIALS WITH EXCEPTIONAL PROPERTIES
Table 13.4 summarises the main physico-chemical properties of diamond and c-BN. Depending on their method of preparation, their applications can be divided into two main categories:
- applications involving both the intrinsic properties of the phase and those of the substrate (for thin layers on selected substrates).
