ABSTRACT
The notion of vector spaces essentially provides a framework in which the
principle of superposition can be formalized. Once we have this structure, we
can move on to consider additional operations to supply it with both geometric
and analytic structures. The so-called Euclidean vector space to be defined in
the sequel will be one of such geometrically structured spaces.
