ABSTRACT
Reciprocal Interaction Experimentally, the AER releases a mesodermalizing fac tor (MF) causing the subjacent mesenchyme to prolifer ate. The mesenchyme releases an ectodermalizing factor (EF) affecting AER activity. This reciprocal interaction may explain the differing shape and structure of the emerging limb (Figure lb).
