ABSTRACT
As shown in Figure 2.3, risk analysis is used to evaluate nonthreshold toxicants. Most applications of risk analysis have concerned carcinogens (genotoxic and nongenotoxic). It is likely that risk analysis will be extended to developmental toxicants (especially genotoxic types) and hereditary disease toxicants in the future.
