data quality, whether the quality varies from place to place and so forth. This is because there is no real benchmark to gauge the data against, other than at a coarsely aggregate level (coarse both spatially and temporally). Despite these difficulties, research has suggested that geographically sensi tive aggregation of lifestyle data can produce results that at least appear consistent with information obtained from other data sources (Frost and Harris 2001).
