ABSTRACT
NII-9 institute had at its disposal nearly 300 mg of plutonium extracted from the concentrates produced on installation No. 5. This amount was sufficient to proceed with the final testing of the plutonium refining technology proposed and developed by Academician I.I. Chernyaev and his team [38].
