ABSTRACT

This chapter addresses a number of relevant points concerning the g-jitter sensitivity of typical Fluid Physics experiments in microgravity (MG). After a general discussion of the different fluid behaviour, in presence of different accelerations (quasi-steady, periodic, pulsed), numerical simulations are presented and discussed, for a typical study case, and the results of the computations are compared, for each simulation, to the corresponding ideal (zero-g) purely diffusive situation.
