Regularities of rare earth metal solubility in solid magnesium

The lattice parameter values presented in Figure 50 and their regular change with

increasing rare earth atomic number enable us to forecast the lattice parameters of the

supposed compounds M g 3 L n - , M g 2 L n - and MgLn-type in the M g - P m system.
