ABSTRACT Low-cost customisation and flexibility in the design of electronic systems is now taken for granted. Advances in desktop design and modeling tools with interfaced rapid-prototyping equipment are also with us. The natural consequence of such available technologies is surely single-point integrated design. Form and functionality can be addressed from the same source.
