ABSTRACT
Combined sewer systems (CSS) are composed of collectors and pipes, simultaneously transporting wastewater and stormwater in a single network. As a consequence, most of the guidance given in Chapters 16 and 17 is also applicable in CSSs. The reader should therefore first read these chapters.
