ABSTRACT
Turkish construction sector has the biggest share
in GNP in 1998; however, it also has the biggest
decrease between 1998 and 2002. This shrinkage
can be explained by the 2001 crisis in Turkey as the
construction sector is always the most affected by a
change in economic situation. The next three coun-
tries are Czech Republic, Slovakia and Denmark.
