ABSTRACT
Mr Jean Pierre Camps is Maître de Conferences and Head of Civil Engineering Department, Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Rennes, France. He works as a searcher at the laboratory of Civil Engineering, G.T.Ma., Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Rennes, in the field of construction materials. Dr Alain Laplanche is Maître de Conferences at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, Université de Rennes. His current research work includes: treatment of drinking water, treatment of sewage, reactions and processes with ozone. Mr Kamal Al Rim is a searcher at the laboratory of Civil Engineering, G.T.Ma., Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Rennes. An engineer from Lattaquié University, Syria, last year he completed a Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies about the topic dealt with in the present paper.
