ABSTRACT

Corroded area ratio is defined as ratio of corroded area to total area of a reinforcement. Traces of corroded area of samples are measured by an automatic planimeter, and the results are shown in Fig. 12 and Table 1 for beams and columns. On coated beams with non-salt 9C and 11, only small spots of corrosion are observed, presenting 0% corroded area ratio. Uncoated beam with non-salt 9 presents 28% on east side, where-as west side presents 0%. Similarly, uncoated beam 12 presents 25% on sea side and 0% on land side.
