ABSTRACT
Dr Wen Hsiung Chen is Professor of Civil Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan, Republic of China. He received his Dr. degree from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 1974. Dr. Chen has been engaged in teaching, research and consultation work on various projects in Japan, Canada and United States, and has published numerous research papers. His main research interests are in the field of cracking behavior and durability studies of reinforced concrete structures. He is a member of the revising committee on construction code of the Chinese Institute of Civil and Hydrolic Engineering of ROC.
