ABSTRACT
Dr. John H.Bungey is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Liverpool, where he teaches constructional materials and structural concrete design. He has been active in research and consultancy in the field of nondestructive testing and insitu assessment of concrete for more than 15 years. He currently chairs the B.S.I. sub-committee and Concrete Society working party on N.D.T. of concrete. Current research includes investigating techniques for assessment of reinforcement corrosion, and the use of radar for testing concrete.
