ABSTRACT
Experimental results on corrosion of reinforcement (5) show that the curing period has a distinct effect on the durability of the concrete. The concrete specimens subjected to moist curing for 28 days performed 4.4 and 12.2 times better than those cured for 7 days and 3 days respectively. The increase in the curing period also improved the resistance against sulphate attack (5).
