ABSTRACT
Fly ash can be utilized in several ways in cement works. It can be incorporated in the raw mix for the production of portland clinker (low-quality fly ash), as a raw material and a fuel in the kiln (high-carbon fly ash), for clinker production, and as replacement for portland clinker for the production of portland fly-ash cement (low-carbon, high-quality fly ash) / B 77/.
