ABSTRACT
Experimental and t h e o r e t i c a l i n v e s t i g a t i o n s are shown, making the a n a l y s i s of p l a s t i c deformation c a p a c i t y of frames w i t h due regard t o i n t e r a c t i o n of s t r e n g t h and s t a b i l i t y phenomena p o s s i b l e , i n c l u d i n g the e f f e c t of l o c a l b u c k l i n g of p l a t e elements of s e c t i o n s on the response of the whole s t r u c t u r e .
