ABSTRACT
Problems due to oxides of nitrogen (NO + NO ) can a r i s e i n small and confined spaces where a l o t of b l a s t i n g i s c a r r i e d out. I n normal c a s e s , however, these gases should not cause any d i f f i c u l t i e s s i n c e s m a l l q u a n t i t i e s of e x l o s i v e s are used. I n t h i s way, the gas c o n c e n t r a t i o n s can be kept below the permitted t h r e s h o l d v a l u e s .
