ABSTRACT
A first pass at modelling this series is clearly going to involve investigating a model comprising a trend component and a seasonal component. This will be our starting point for the tutorial. We saw in Chapter 10 how to specify both trend and seasonal components so we will just list the required steps here. If you need a reminder of what each of these steps is actually doing, refer back to the relevant sections of Chapter 10. Begin by loading the injury data set QACCIDS.DAT.
