ABSTRACT
Throughout the program familiarisation in Tutorial 1 we made use of the example data files supplied with your copy of BATS. As you probably al ready have your own data files-most likely with name extensions different to the ones you have seen used in the tutorial-we shall look here at how you can use your files. We have put this material in an appendix in case you would rather skip directly to the modelling tutorials beginning in the next chapter. Since the examples therein use the supplied data files, you can come back to this material later if you wish.
