ABSTRACT

Abstract The paper presents i n i t i a l t e s t r e s u l t s of a new, simple, i n s i t u t e s t i n g method f o r the determination of bleeding water. This t e s t method p r e d i c t s the tendency of concrete mixtures to bleed and the e f f e c t i v e n e s s of preventive measures w i t h i n the s u i t a b i l i t y t e s t s . The i n f l u e n c e of unavoidable d e v i a t i o n s i n basic m a t e r i a l s and environment a l c o n d i t i o n s w i l l be defined by means of future pract i c e t e s t s i n ready-mixed concrete p l a n t s .
