ABSTRACT
In case the properties do not meet specif icat ion requirements, i t i s necessary to judge to what extent the noticed deficiencies w i l l affect the fatigue performance and rutting of the pavement under t r a f f i c . As a matter of fact, often a c r i t é r i u m based only on the amount of bituminous mix layed is adopted to value penalties to be applied instead of referring to performance c r i t e r i a .
